Woolgather's Art Vend!

Posted on May 28, 2013

I have done 150 mini artworks for Woolgather's Art Vend!

That means that lots of small colourful papercircles are waiting in their vending machines. They are packed in small ball shaped capsules and go for a Pound each.

The Project launched on April 1st 2013 and has seen an incredible response with some fantastic press coverage including the BBC and Guardian websites and The Yorkshire Evening Post [3 times no less!!]. People in Leeds seem to be agreeing with the writers with approximately 1500 artworks sold across the city so far.

You can currently find an art vending machine at The Juju Shop [Corn Exchange], Stotts Cafe [North Street], and in the Chemic Pub [Woodhouse]. Look out in the Chemic if you get one of Sean Williams' Lemon paintings because a lady called Gill will want it off you! [She has 36 already] Next weekend a machine will be at Left Bank Church on Cardigan Road for their Beer Festival [Sat 25th & Sun 26th]. Look out for machines at Trinity Leeds shopping centre in the near future.
